Park View Gámmes look out across the calm surroundings of Kaamos Lodge, offering a peaceful setting in the heart of Aavasaksa. Each Junior Suite Gámme features two single beds placed together, a comfortable seating area, separate kitchenette and dining space, plus a private bathroom with shower and your own sauna. Selected units can accommodate an extra bed, and accessible gámme units are also available. 

Forest View Gámmes bring the quiet nature of Finnish Lapland right to your window, with peaceful forest scenery surrounding your stay. Each Junior Suite Gámme features two single beds placed together, a comfortable seating area, separate kitchenette and dining space, plus a private bathroom with shower and your own sauna. Selected units can accommodate an extra bed, and accessible gámme units are also available. 

River View Gámmes are made for guests who want the landscape to be a defining part of the stay, with views opening out across the Torne River Valley from high on Aavasaksa. Each Junior Suite Gámme features two single beds placed together, a comfortable seating area, separate kitchenette and dining space, plus a private bathroom with shower and your own sauna. Selected units can accommodate an extra bed, and accessible gámme units are also available. 

Family Gámmes are designed for two adults and one child, with two single beds placed together and an extra bed for the child. Available with either Park View or Forest View, each gámme also features a separate kitchenette and dining space, plus a private bathroom with shower and your own sauna.

Enjoy fresh, flavourful food in our 160-seat panoramic restaurant, surrounded by the landscapes of Aavasaksa. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, while the bar and lounge offer a relaxed place to enjoy a drink and take in the views.  

Relax in the sauna and indoor and outdoor relaxation pools, all complemented by beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. The outdoor pool brings you even closer to the fresh Lapland air, while shower and changing facilities make the spa experience easy and comfortable.  

Our friendly team is here to help with check-in, activities and anything you need during your stay. The lounge is a welcoming place to unwind with a hot drink or one of our signature drinks and, with a little luck, catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights outside.  

Kaamos Lodge offers a conference room for up to 18 people, while the panoramic restaurant can host larger groups, weddings, celebrations and other events. Accommodation, dining and experiences can all be combined into one memorable stay in Finnish Lapland. 

Set just beside the main building, our traditional kåta offers a warm and relaxed setting around the open fire. With space for up to 40 guests, it is ideal for private dinners, group gatherings, events and activity programs.

Together with Aavasaksa Adventures Oy, guests can enjoy experiences such as husky safaris, snowmobile tours and reindeer rides. The activity centre is located just five minutes from Kaamos Lodge, with hiking, the midnight sun and Northern Lights adding even more ways to experience Aavasaksa. 

The Aavasaksa ski area is located close to Kaamos Lodge and features three slopes, an anchor lift and a carpet lift for children. The family-friendly slopes offer an easy way to enjoy a day on the snow, with ski equipment available for rent on site. Cross-country skiing is also available in Aavasaksa.
