Perched high on Luppioberget in Sweden, close to the Finnish border, Lapland View Lodge rises above the Torne River Valley with sweeping views all the way to Finland. Panoramic cabins, a restaurant built around the scenery and a spa carved into the hillside make this the collection’s defining landscape stay.  

At the top of Aavasaksa, Kaamos Lodge sits within one of Finland’s nationally recognised landscapes. Turf-covered gámme Junior Suites, private saunas, panoramic dining and far-reaching views make this the collection’s distinctive hilltop stay in Finnish Lapland. 

Matarengi Lodge sits in the centre of Övertorneå, close to the Swedish-Finnish border and the everyday life of the Torne River Valley. It is the collection’s village stay, with local culture, Arctic nature and life in the North right outside the door.  

Deep in the forest beside Lake Saarijärvi, Pinetree Lodge is where the Explore the North story began. With around 200 huskies living here, there are more dogs than people in the village, making this the collection’s original home of husky life in the North.  

Set in the small village of Tärendö, Arctic River Lodge is surrounded by the rivers, forests and countryside of Swedish Lapland. Once a forestry school, it is now one of the collection’s most characterful lodge stays, with a warm and distinctly local feel. 

Set by the Kalix River in Överkalix, Grand Arctic Resort offers spacious accommodation, Aurora Cabins, restaurant, spa and a wide range of experiences in one riverside setting. It is the collection’s full-service resort, with plenty of space for families, friends and groups. 

Far north in Lannavaara, Aurora Mountain Lodge sits among open landscapes, sparse forest and the wilderness around Kuormakka. Cosy cabins and suites, huskies nearby and nature stretching in every direction make this one of the collection’s most remote lodge stays. 

Red-pine cabins sit quietly among the forests of Ritavaara, with Lake Valkeajärvi nearby and outdoor adventures beginning right from the lodge. With space, silence and nature all around, Valkea is the collection’s forest retreat in Finnish Lapland.
