14 twin rooms with a private balcony or terrace facing north, giving you your own outdoor space to watch the sky. Each room has a private bathroom with shower, comfortable seating and TV. Selected rooms can accommodate two adults and two children. 

Two spacious suites with a double bed, large seating area and panoramic views, each with a private bathroom and its own sauna. One suite can also be connected to an adjoining double room. 

Six cabins set directly by the Kalix River, close to the main hotel and with terraces facing north. Each cabin has two bedrooms, a living room, kitchenette, TV and private bathroom with shower. 

Located beside reception, the lounge looks north across the Kalix River and offers a comfortable place to relax throughout the day. It can also be reserved for private meals and groups of up to 40 guests. 

Our 85-seat restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with views across the river. The kitchen focuses on carefully prepared food and flavours from the North, accompanied by a selected range of drinks. 

Right beside reception, the Wilderness Bar is an easy place to meet for a drink, enjoy a local beer or order something small to eat. 

The indoor relaxation area has two saunas, an indoor jacuzzi and comfortable seating, and is complimentary for hotel guests. For something closer to the river, a wood-fired sauna and outdoor jacuzzi can also be booked for an additional charge. 

Dating back to the 17th century, The Villa offers six bedrooms for 8 to 12 guests, along with generous living and lounge areas with cosy fireplaces. The main hotel is just a two-minute walk away. 

Grand Arctic Resort offers several conference and meeting spaces, from the characterful dining room at Prästgården to the cinema at neighbouring Folkets Hus. Fully equipped spaces are available for groups of up to 180 guests. 

Located just outside the hotel, our traditional lavvu can be reserved for meals, gatherings and events for up to 50 guests. A relaxed northern setting for spending time together around the fire. 

Our heated outdoor pool is open from mid-June to mid-August and is available for all resort guests to enjoy during the warmer days of summer. 

Our private nightclub can be booked for groups of up to 200 guests. Arrange a disco, music quiz or your own themed evening and keep the celebration going after dinner.

SET BESIDE THE RIVER, Överkalix Camping has 76 spacious pitches and 10 tent spots, a service centre and easy access to activities around the resort. The campsite is open from 1 June to 30 September.
